Two sets of strikers who are yet to learn the advantage of looking along the line when waiting for a pass were very much on display today.
Cameroon are guilty of a gross misuse of talent by playing Samuel Eto'o on the right, rather than as an out-and-out striker. Like driving a formula 1 car in rush hour traffic
The only consolation for me in this game is having made a drunken bet with a member of my (South African) brother-in-laws family, whereby I would finance a full evening out if Cameroon made it out of the group stages into the knock-out phase. Instead the burden will hopefully be resting firmly on his wallet the next time we meet.
On this basis, I'd be somewhat surprised if we're not seeing Holland & Denmark as the two qualifying nations from this group.
That was a game to rival Algeria/Slovenia
